The rose plays an important role, sometimes not recognised, to fill the gap between red and white. In this case the wine can be closer to the white or to the red wine characteristics depending on the choices made in the cellar. The Feniletto wants to be a rose with a red wine structure and with a white wine drinkability. From the Marzemino there is the aroma of wild fruit, from the Merlot the body and from the Corvina the spiciness, this is achieved via the chilling technique. The extended maceration before fermentation allows fuller extraction and a fuller weight. The cherry colour, intense on the nose, opens into a pleasurable palate with a long finish.
